Do you provide meals?

Meals are provided on special occasions. Otherwise, children bring healthy food from home.

What is the teacher-student ratio?

We maintain a ratio of 2 teachers for 17 children in Early Explorers.

Will toilet training be provided?

Yes, we support children with toilet training.

My child knows only their mother tongue. Is that okay?

Absolutely. We value the mother tongue, and our multilingual staff gently help children adapt over time.

My child has not started speaking yet. Is that a concern?

Not at all. Children naturally begin picking up words by interacting with peers.

My child is very clingy. Will they adjust?

Yes. With consistent attendance and gentle support, children gradually settle and feel secure.

My child cannot eat independently. Will you help?

Yes, our staff assists children during snack time.

Is it safe to send my child to picnics?

Yes. Safety is our top priority, and all necessary precautions are taken. Participation is optional.

My child is only 1.5 years old. Is it too early?

Not at all. Early years are crucial for development, and we provide a safe, nurturing space for them to explore.

With over 15 years of experience and the trust of 2000+ families, we follow a Montessori and play-based approach that focuses on learning through exploration, creativity, and real-life experiences. Spread across a thoughtfully designed 5000 sq. ft. indoor learning space and a 2000 sq. ft. outdoor play area, our environment is created to ensure children feel safe, happy, active, and inspired every day.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

Founded in 2011 by Diya Mehra, A Little More Preschool was created with a vision to build a space where children feel safe, happy, and truly cared for while taking their very first steps into learning.

A Montessori-trained educator and Chennai Territory Head of the Early Childhood Association, Diya believes that early childhood is about much more than academics it’s about nurturing confidence, curiosity, independence, and emotional well-being.

Since then, A Little More has become a second home to 2000+ children and a trusted learning space for families who value warmth, care, and meaningful early childhood experiences.

At the heart of it all is one simple belief:
